The property at 325 College Avenue is located in the historical district and one of Rock Hill's most desirable neighborhoods. It sits on a lovely, elevated corner lot, is surrounded by mature landscaping and is within walking distance of Winthrop University. The two-story house has approximately 3,000 square feet, 12 rooms, an elegant wrap-around porch, a second-story balcony, +/- five bedrooms, three and a half baths and hardwood floors. The vinyl siding, windows, gas heat and wiring are approximately 5 years old.

Known as the Theodore Quantz House, 325 College Avenue was built about 1910. Dr. Gaston Quantz, a beloved physician, grew up here. Later the house was owned by Miss Ermine Wilfong, a piano teacher at Winthrop College (now University). Dr. and Mrs. Roderick Macdonald purchased the house in 1942. Dr. Macdonald was a well-known ophthalmologist and practiced in Rock Hill for over 50 years. Dr. and Mrs. Macdonald's daughter, Martha Macdonald, is offering the home at auction.
